Job Summary: Provide civil engineering support for Engineering and Construction Department. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ??? Work is National in scope. ??? Monitor and review the development of selected engineering documents for all phases of the project ??? Be the Company representative for civil engineering matters ??? Assist in the planning, designing, monitoring and managing of projects and programs for substantial new construction ??? Review and approve civil, building and structural design documentation from all contractor offices as identified and required. ??? Validate the design and procurement of civil and building equipment to ensure that they meet Project requirements ??? Attend vendor technical reviews for critical construction ??? Validate that package design is in full accordance with Project requirements ??? Ensure full compliance with all applicable technical standards as required by the Contract agreement

REQUIREMENTS ??? B.S. degree in Civil Engineering ??? 5+ years of related experience required ??? P.E. License is MUST ??? Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SAP, and possess drafting skills ??? Ability to review consultant-prepared design drawings, indicating basic design corrections, prepare technical specifications, review engineering plans for compliance with numerous regulatory acts. Assist in the evaluation of contract bids. ??? Working familiarity with cryogenics and liquefied natural gas is a plus and preferred (not required). ??? Must possess acceptable written and oral communications skills. ??? Works well in a team atmosphere ??? Familiar with applicable U.S. and International codes and standards ???
