    Job Description

    Subzero Engineering is currently seeking a Controller to join their fast growing organization. Subzero manufactures custom airflow management solutions for data centers globally. Subzero provides a fast pace growing environment for individuals looking for experience, growth opportunities, and a relaxed working environment. As a member of the team at Subzero, the Controller will report to the General Manager / CFO. The primary responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of all financial and managerial accounting functions and planning and budgeting responsibilities. Essential Duties: Oversee all aspects of the financial and managerial accounting functions of the organization. Manage month-end closings and providing timely and accurate financial statements for internal and external use. Manage the A/R , A/P, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and employee reimbursements functions. Monitor cash balances, provide cash forecasts, and maximize cash flow. Identify, design, and implement appropriate accounting processes and controls for a growing company. Prepare monthly departmental budgets verse actual reports for each department manager. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget to actual reports for internal use by the executive team. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Prepare quarterly sales taxes for multiple states. Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation. Manage job costing and gross profit analysis for manufacturing and site services. Assist in relationship management with financial institutions and accounting professionals. Experience in mergers and acquisitions is beneficial but not required.     Requirements

    Minimum of a Bachelor???s degree in accounting. Preference will be given to candidates who are CPAs with audit experience. Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates with public accounting experience and/or manufacturing experience. Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and Fishbowl required. Excellent computer skills required. Experience with Apple products a plus. Advance verbal and written communications skills with both internal team members and external partners and clients required. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-pace environment. High regard for integrity, ethics, flexibility, teamwork, professional excellence and interpersonal skills. Management experience a plus. Ability to motivate yourself and others to work independently and as a team.
