Responsible for providing technical instruction for students enrolled in the Medical Assisting program and/or medical assistant working in the field that need further training to obtain licensure to take radiographs in a physician???s office. Course content areas may include: Anatomy & Physiology, radiation protection, physics of x-ray machine, positioning of patients for radiographs, radiobiology, dark room and process, digital processing, ethics, film critiques, safety and infections control.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Must possess a bachelor???s degree in Radiology or related area with a minimum of three years of related work experience. Must hold a current radiologic technologist license. Must have experience with digital processing equipment. Preference will be given to those individuals that have teaching experience. Preference will be given to those individuals that have radiology experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting.
