CFO/Controller for a company in the Financial Services industry located in the Greater Ogden area. Candidate will work directly with owner and oversee all accounting records and functions. Must have an accounting degree. CPA not required but very beneficial. Prior CFO/Controller experience needed. Must have current working knowledge of most recent version of MAS 90, no exceptions - if you do not have this software knowledge do not apply as you will not be considered for this position. Must be detail oriented and able to analyze financial data. Candidate will work with interfacing information from a proprietary software data base that maintains note receivable balances for customers and reconcile such information with the MAS 90 general ledger. Duties also include bank reconciliations, payroll entries and all accounting functions. Must have good communication skills to explain and consult financial data with company owner. This company follows a very unusual and complex revenue recognition method so candidate must be able to learn new concepts in relation to revenue recognition as well as work closely with outside CPA auditing firm.
