Over 4,500 people work for Hexcel at various manufacturing sites, sales offices and R&T centres around the globe??????we call them our ???Strength Within" SLC Fibers Maintenance Manager Position Summary Manages and coordinates activities of the Maintenance Department, related to installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining Salt Lake City Fibers assets. Coordinates activities of contractors and craftspeople related to installation of new equipment and repair of existing equipment. Accountabilities include: creating preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, establishment of critical spare and min and max quantities, defining and ordering required spare parts, overseeing maintenance technical projects to improve equipment reliability, reviewing and approving new construction projects requiring maintenance support and maintainability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; other duties may be assigned: Directs, coordinates and manages the activities of the Maintenance Department in the maintenance and installation of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Works closely with operations, engineering and management to resolve maintenance issues and recommend actions to continuously improve equipment operation Manages Maintenance Department labor, materials and contracts budget. Reviews new equipment design and modifications with engineering. Maintains and manages work order and PM/TPM systems for quality systems compliance and completeness. Maintains and manages the plants calibration program. Maintains and manages the Equipment Hierarchy and history through the CMMS. Primary responsibility for the CMMS system. Responsible for maintaining the maintenance departments KPI???s and the continued effort to improve them to achieve ???World Class??? performance. Directs and manages performance, safety and employee compliance to company policies and procedures. Responsible for managing supervisory, technical and hourly employees. Responsible for the establishment of SOP for tasks being executed by the craftspeople. Required Qualifications/Experience/Skills BS degree in engineering or related field, with emphasis in electrical and electronics. 3 to 5 years of related experience in maintenance management. Ability to read, interpret and analyze general business data, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to effectively communicate both written and oral information with regards to reports, correspondence, procedure manuals and presentations all levels of the organization, clients, customers, and suppliers. Experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment. Experience with an ERP system.
