    Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the harvesting and processing equipment, machines and facilities; including our building and grounds maintenance at our headquarters in Ogden, Utah. What kind of experience and training do I need to have??? The position requires a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of direct experience and/or formal training in some or all of the required disciplines. Must have the ability and desire to work safely in a variety of settings and circumstances. Ability to safely operate motorized vehicles, forklifts, and scissor lifts, tools, equipment; and comply with all safety laws, regulations, rules, etc. **This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of all duties and responsibilities and is subject to change at management???s discretion.**

    Requirements

    What about skills? What would I do in this job? We are looking for a self starter???capable of working with little supervision. The ideal candidate must have the ability to: diagnose technical and mechanical problems and suggest repair and preventive options; work with compressors and pneumatics, electric and gas or diesel motors, hydraulic systems, plumbing, electrical, lift equipment, mechanical, office facilities maintenance, production machines/equipment, HVAC systems and landscape sprinkler systems, and perform repairs on these same machines and equipment. Must be able to operate hand and power tools for maintenance, mechanical, and repair work. Must be able to accurately and efficiently record production, repair and maintenance information using MS Office applications; read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; speak/write in the English language, and effectively communicate regarding maintenance/repair of machines/equipment. It is essential to be able to collaborate with others to repair or move machines, parts or equipment. Good working mathematical skills are a must: add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with 10???s and 100???s; perform these operations using units of money, weight measurement, volume, distance; etc. **This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of all duties and responsibilities and is subject to change at management???s discretion.**
