The Fierro Group (dba Rico Brand & Frida Bistro) is looking to hire a Director of Operations for its restaurant and manufacturing facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified individual adept in the areas of food service management, manufacturing operations, distribution, marketing, financial and business analytics, and human resource management. As Director of Operations you must have excellent communication skills as the ability to organize team members and implement the CEO's policies will be dependent on this proficiency. A wide degree of experience, which may be attained by work experience in various business settings, is helpful in aiding the director in the specific complexities of managing our organization. Duties: ??? Manage day-to-day operations in five divisions: Production, Distribution, Catering, Frida Bistro, and Back Office (HR & Administration). ??? Develop and implement departmental budgets, formulate policies, create sales forecasts, refine distribution logistics, conduct cost/benefit analyses for distribution routes, develop business plans for economic growth, and generate company financials. ??? Directly facilitate human resources, marketing, USDA, FDA & HACCP compliance, new product R & D, new account contract negotiation, graphic design and company branding, website modifications and IT support, and financial and managerial oversight for all divisions. ??? May also provide updated financials to lending institutions and other interests, verify bank reconciliations, establish departmental budgets, negotiate contracts, establish depreciation schedules, evaluate and procure equipment (including vehicles, manufacturing, and restaurant), and often function as a controller.

Qualifications: ??? A minimum of a bachelor???s degree in business or related field with preference given to candidates holding graduate level certification from an accredited university. ??? Ten years??? experience in food service management, manufacturing or operations with escalating levels of responsibility. Minimum of 3 years managing operations at the executive level. ??? A proven track record of growth both operationally and financially. ??? Strong leadership characteristics with the ability to develop and mentor management. ??? Ability to execute in a high pressure environment. ??? High degree of organization-must be able to multi task. ??? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ??? Must be task driven and solution oriented, with acute ability to problem solve. ??? Some exposure to restaurant or food service operations highly beneficial.
