Job Summary: Perform work, including but not limited to; serving as a receptionist; assisting the attorney and paralegals with preparation of documents; meeting with clients in person and over the phone; working with other attorneys; and performing clerical/ administrative functions. Duties: Assist the attorneys and paralegals; greet clients; take inbound calls and make outbound calls; schedule appointments; correspond via fax, email and mail; electronic filing; document preparation; letter writing

-Planning skills such as time management to assure all deadlines are met -Tracking deadlines and hearing dates -communicate with employees -communicate with outside parties -Spanish speaking a plus -Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel -Typing and data entry skills will be required -Basic organizational skills are required for filing and collating paperwork -Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential Ability to communicate orally with clients, attorneys, management, and other co-workers. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing, vision and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Must be able to bend and move up and down to file. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. The job is generally performed in an office environment. Long periods of sitting are required with occasional standing and walking.
