Leading K-12 software company seeks Project Manager (Provo, Utah) ParentLink, the global experts in building educational communities, is expanding. We are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team in managing significant projects involving implementation of new and upgrading clients, with the mission of assisting our client services and data integration teams in delivering on-time implementation, and attaining high customer satisfaction. About the Position As a ParentLink project manager you will: -Assume responsibility for effectively coordinating and leading deployment projects for ParentLink products and services. -Work with clients, client service representatives, and data integration team to develop project plans and estimates, and manage them appropriately to make sure they are delivered on time and meet the expectations of clients. -Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication and coordination with system users during implementation period. -Communicate information such as project statuses, progress toward milestones, and project escalations to stakeholders, including advising clients and other implementation team members of potential and actual delays to project. -Ensure that interactions with users are clear, courteous, timely, and understandable. -Follow proper project management methodologies and practices and ensure adherence to implementation and deployment processes -Provide limited user training -Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: We believe in hiring only the best individuals; some of the things we look for in candidates include: -Bachelor's degree in a technical field -Related project management experience. Understanding of Gantt charts and related project management methodologies is required. -Strong analytic and problem-solving skills -Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical system issues and their impact upon the underlying implementation process -Ability to communicate detailed technical information to clients, customer support, and development teams -Well organized -Knowledge of basic sales processes, metrics, and management techniques
