The Center for High School Global Alliances has temporary job openings for several Host Family Coordinators in various communities across the Wasatch Front including Millcreek, Holladay, Murray, Sandy, Kaysville, Layton as well as the Pleasant Grove and Tooele areas. Host Family Coordinators will be expected to find high quality host families in specified communities within the state of Utah for a large group of high school age students and accompanying adult chaperones who will be visiting from China for two weeks in July 2013. The Host Family Coordinator will have the opportunity to work from home as they spread the word about the opportunity to host through personal contacts, community resources, etc. and will give interested families information about hosting, after which they will follow up with them addressing any questions or concerns in order to help them make the decision to host and ensure that the family qualifies to do so. The Host Family Coordinator will receive $85 - $120 compensation for each student or chaperone he or she directly places with a family. Compensation is commission-based and intended to be supplemental income.
This is a contract position.
Relocation costs may be covered.
