Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel. Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel. Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department; takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information; welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Review internal phone call recordings for quality assurance and/or training purposes. Greet and direct visitors in office. Performs other clerical duties as needed. Excellent phone etiquette; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and via email. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and business operations; ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters. Demonstrated computer skills and professional knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint). Punctual. Customer service driven. Proven ability to multi-task and follow through and prioritize all tasks given throughout the work day; ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collectively with the communication team associates. Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions. Ability to lift 25 lbs, bend, stoop, twist, type and sit for long periods of time.

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). 5 years of demonstrated customer service, phone answering or reception experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 or more years experience in a healthcare or law office setting preferred. Sit up to 6-8 hours a day. Speak, read and write fluent English. Speak with and listen to internal and external customers. Bend to reach supplies/materials, reach with hands and arms throughout the day; lift, push or pull and grasp and manipulate tools.
