This is a controller/CFO and accounting type position for an On-line Merchant Company in the Weber County area operating in the travel industry and related industries. Candidate will work closely with company management and owners as well as with the outside CPA firm. Solid and rapidly growing quality company to work for, great benefits and excellent work environment.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Candidate must have an accounting degree, CPA not required but helpful, prior accounting/controller or CFO experience needed. Must be detail oriented, have a solid understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Income Statement and accounting cycle, be able to verify accuracy of transactions posted to custom software system, working knowledge of QuickBooks and be able to learn to operate custom accounting software, be able to analyze financial data, prepare profitability reports using Excel spreadsheets as well as have good communication skills to explain reports to management. Must understand credit card processing and payments systems.
