    Job Description

    Vehicle Lighting Solutions, an industry leader in emergency vehicle equipment, is looking for a front desk administrative assistant to join our growing team. VLS is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing person with customer service experience to provide office services and monitor administrative projects. VLS will train the appropriate candidate. All applicants must pass a drug test, criminal background check and provide excellent references to be considered for this position.

    Relocation costs may be covered.


    General Purpose Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Duties will include general administrative support duties as well as these receptionist-type duties. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities ??? Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls ??? Receive and direct visitors and clients ??? General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing ??? Handle requests for information and data ??? Resolve administrative problems and inquiries ??? Prepare written responses to routine inquiries ??? Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence ??? Maintain office supply inventories ??? Coordinate maintenance of office equipment ??? Process payments Key Competencies ??? Customer service orientation ??? Communication skills - written and verbal ??? Planning and organizing ??? Prioritizing ??? Problem assessment and problem solving ??? Information gathering and information monitoring ??? Attention to detail and accuracy ??? Flexibility; Adaptability ???
