    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Personnel Coordinator provides support relating to the day to day operations regarding personnel files and any other documentation related to employment in order to assist the office in maintaining compliance. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:PERSONNEL COORDINATOR 1. Assist in greeting and providing applicants with application packet 2. Assist with verification of reference checks, Nurse Aide Registry, Board of Nursing, DMV, background checks and applicable screening exams on candidates in a timely manner 3. Coordinate scheduling and contacting of applicants for orientation as directed 4. Assist in processing employment data 5. Ensures personnel file format 6. Computer input of employee information 7. Assist Director of Clinical Services with maintaining compliance as directed 8. Communicate with members of the Maxim office regarding staff maintaining requirements 9. Performs special projects timely as required 10. Follows Maxim guidelines fire and safety, HIPAA, and Compliance Program Plan The Medical Records Clerk performs clerical functions related to medical records. The filing/data processing has primary responsibility and accountability for maintaining accurate patient records. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:MEDICAL RECORDS 1. Performs all admissions for data entry, inputs physician???s plan of care and other medical information into the computer when requested 2. Prints, separates and distributes the physician plan of care 3. Maintains a tracking system of physician orders and plan of care in order to maintain compliance 4. Demonstrates a desire to set and meet objectives and to find increasingly efficient ways to perform task 5. Completes work and documentation with accuracy and within Maxim time frames 6. Protects and honors client (patient) and co-worker confidentiality 7. Meets attendance and punctuality expectations 8. Performs other duties as assigned

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1. High School diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently 3. Accurate data entry skills 4. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred 5. Ability to perform basic clerical functions (typing, filing, mail etc.) 6. Reliable transportation
