    Job Description

    This is a great Full Time position for a detail-oriented person who HAS EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER CARE and OFFICE/WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS, as well as an interest in classic "aircooled" Volkswagens. ** PLEASE READ ALL POSITION INFORMATION THOROUGHLY BEFORE APPLYING!!! ** The core responsibility of the Customer ORder Care Coordinator position is to respond and follow up appropriately to all incoming customer inquiries and order requests (mainly email, some phone). The Customer Order Care Coordinator is a key employee who oversees and coordinates the flow of order fulfillment which includes (but is not limited to) implementation of change orders, order cancellations, backorder fulfillment, shipping quotes, payment problems, and special handling requests. As a contributing member of the operations team, you may also be expected to help in the areas of receiving, inventory counting and data entry, and warehouse organization when needed. Our office and warehouse can be a hectic place at times. You will need to be able to stay focused on your responsibilities and work at a quick pace while still being accurate. COMPANY INFO We are a family run auto parts company specializing in performance, restoration and customization parts for aircooled (old style) Volkswagen vehicles (all types: Beetle, Super Beetle, Ghia, Thing, Bus, Type 3, and Type 4). Established in 1999, Aircooled.Net has a solid reputation in the aircooled VW world for providing top quality technical support and assistance for the parts we sell to VW enthusiasts. The majority of our sales are ONLINE, and we ship worldwide. Our warehouse is located at 362 W. 6100 South, Unit A, Murray 84107. Our work environment is INFORMAL (not the least bit "corporate"). We have no problem with a little socializing and fun as long as the work is getting done. The bulk of our business is via the internet -- we have the occasional local customer, but they generally know us and don't expect a formal reception! You can dress how you are comfortable (no dress code), but should dress appropriately for working on your feet in a dusty, non-climate controlled, warehouse environment. You will have a desk in the office, but the duties you have as the Customer/Order Care Coordinator will have you moving between the office and the warehouse regularly throughout the work day. WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS Mon - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hr allotted for lunch). The daily schedule is defined by UPS pick up / delivery times, Postal Run time, times of day for pulling, packaging, invoicing and charging orders, so the scheduled hours are fairly rigid (though could adjust by half hour on either end of the day). Our business is seasonal, you can expect to be busier with periodic long days in the Spring/Summer months. Order volume is also heavier earlier in the week, so on Mondays and Tuesdays you may need to stay a little later than scheduled. Assuming you work efficiently, you will recoup some of that time with shorter days in our slower times of year. Bottom line is that we need you to have some schedule flexibility. If the time-sensitive portion of your work is not done at 5:30, you will be expected to stay and get it done. We definitely don't want a clock-watcher. The work day will usually pass quite quickly for you because there is so much to keep you busy! POSITION OVERVIEW The Customer / Order Care Coordinator is a committed, upbeat, experienced team player, who is the ???voice of customer care??? and point of contact (mainly email interaction) with our customers. You will provide end-to-end customer care in a fast-paced, detail-driven warehouse/shipping environment. The selected candidate will be a rock-solid reliable employee with a sharp mind for detail and the ability to multi-task and stay focused / organized in the face of chaos and interruption. After being immersed and indoctrinated in ???the Aircooled.Net way??? of customer care and order processing, you will be given substantial responsibility -- THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB! Nor is it a ???summer job??? (students please do NOT apply). This a FULL TIME, salaried permanent position working for a busy, growing, online retail store / warehouse that has an established reputation for providing the *best* customer care and order delivery in the industry. Have you ever called a company with an issue, and had to work your way past the ???first level??? of their customer care in order to talk to someone who actually knows what they are doing, looks into the specifics of your problem, and cares enough to try and make it right? THAT knowledgeable, articulate, solution-minded care person is the person we are looking to hire. PAID HOURLY DURING TRAINING / 2 month TRIAL PERIOD: During training/trial period you will be paid $11/hr. Length of trial period is 1-2 months. Pay rate after the training/trial period will be commensurate with the level of responsibility you have proven you can handle, accuracy of work, and skill that you have displayed as a front line email and phone care representative of our company. PAID SALARY WITH BENEFITS AFTER CONVERSION: Upon satisfactory completion of the trial period, the position is converted to salaried; start range $24 - $28K; with annual review and paid National Holidays (New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). The warehouse is closed on these holidays. After 6 months (from date of hire) you become eligible for 6 days paid time off (PTO) and 4 days paid sick time, per year on an accrued basis. NO MEDICAL, DENTAL or VISION COVERAGE IS OFFERED AT THIS TIME.

    Relocation costs may be covered.


    POSITION TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES The Customer Care / Order Coordinator provides exceptional customer support to customers both pre- and post-order while overseeing the flow and release of orders for shipment (or local pickup). To be considered, you must have related experience and be qualified to deliver high level, client-centered customer care; possess excellent email correspondence and phone skills; enjoy problem-solving and challenges, have an excellent memory, and love DETAILS. It would be helpful if you have an interest in restoration or maintenance of old-style Volkswagens because you will need to learn some of the specifics related to the autoparts that we sell in order to provide support for our clientele. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); Fluent in speaking/writing English ??? Customer relations skills and experience (you will be trained to provide excellent customer service as defined by company policy) * Willing and quick to learn; ; Accepts correction and constructive criticism as a natural part of working toward excellence ??? EXTREMELY detail and accuracy oriented - Positive, do-what-needs-to-be-done attitude - High level of comfort with the Internet and different types of web-based software; possess excellent computer skills ??? Able to work independently and make good, common-sense decisions (based on training) without continual supervision ??? Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. - reliable and punctual for committed events and work schedule ??? Works well under pressure. Some responsibilities may be time-sensitive and under tight deadlines. ??? Minimum high school graduate; ideal 2 or more years college * Minimum 50 wpm typing speed; 100% accuracy - QuickBooks experience a plus * eCommerce software experience a plus - Automotive knowledge a plus - Prior experience in warehouse or shipping environment a plus
