To complete daily processes required to maintain daily medical billing, while providing excellent customer service to our patients. Fully understand the different clinic health insurances and be able to talk knowledgably about each plan. -Create daily charges -Post daily charges -Reconcile daily charges to schedule and daily payments -Send claims electronically -Post insurance payments -Post personal payments -Send patient collection letters -Work Insurance Age Analysis reports -Work Patient Age Analysis reports -Contact insurance companies to check on claims status -Reconcile daily payments to the EMR -Assist the Billing Manager with credentialing and paneling providers -Provide exceptional customer service to patients -Patient inquiries about accounts -Address all customer concerns related to billing
Relocation costs may be covered.
Strong sense of customer service, exceptional communication skills, knowledge of EOBs, ICD-9 and CPT coding, EXCEL, Word, EMR Systems (preferably Red Planet, but not required) good organizational skills. 2 years experience in the Medical Billing field.
