JOB SUMMARY Maintains and repairs electrical systems in Parks and Recreation facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Installs or repairs service panels, electronic components, electrical conduit, switches, receptacles, light fixtures, ballasts, circuit breakers, low voltage transformers, photo-electric cells, timers, underground and overhead wiring in accordance with all state and national electrical codes and specifications. Installs complete electrical systems in parks and recreational facilities according to plans, specifications and codes. Coordinates with power company representatives, to determine electrical problems or power failures in parks and recreational facilities. Assists with the resolution for repairs. Installs, maintains and repairs electric motors. Makes regular inspections of parks and recreation facilities, monitors maintenance and safety issues. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies, materials and equipment to properly perform tasks. Keeps accurate daily reports of work completed. Follows applicable safety practices, requirements and policies to prevent accidents or injuries Assists other trades when necessary with maintenance and repairs. Responds to emergency situations during non-regular work hours.
Relocation costs may be covered.
Four (4) years of experience related to the duties of this position. Possession of a valid Utah Driver's License at the time of hire and attainment of a Class B Commercial Driver's License issued by the State of Utah within six (6) months of hire date.
