Summary: The candidate will assist in the day to day operation of a growing industrial construction firm. The candidate will be well rounded and proficient in office duties including customer service, data entry/retrieval, and dependability. A professional attitude is crucial, with the ability to work well and get along with coworkers being the most important. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Process Billing and Accounts Payable ??? Calculates and reconciles labor, materials and equipment used and appropriate billing amounts. ??? Ensures that all costs incurred are billed appropriately. ??? Checks for tax issues and insures they are billed correctly. ??? Obtains and organizes appropriate backup to be sent with invoices to customers. ??? Submits draft bills to appropriate persons for review by due date. Timekeeping ??? Performs time-keeping duties skillfully and accurately, if needed. ??? Reconciles labor hours and calculation of labor billing amounts. Miscellaneous ??? Effectively communicates with Project Managers, customers, vendors, Billing Supervisor and other accounting personnel. ??? Proposes improvements to the Billing or other accounting processes. ??? Performs other accounting duties as directed by Manager, Controller or CFO. Performs other office duties as needed.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills The successful applicant will possess an ability to read and interpret documents. The successful applicant will also possess an ability to write routine reports and correspondence. An ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors and employees of organization is also a vital skill. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, the applicant should have emphasis on Excel spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, and familiarity with multi-module Accounting software (Sage Timberline preferred). The applicant must know MS office suite (An Intermediate understanding of Excel), and be able to use 10 key NSPM of 150 with accuracy.
