General Responsibilities ???Maintain appearance and function of the hotel and grounds ???Provide shuttling to guests ???Ensures compliance with government regulations ???Contribute to providing high levels of guest satisfaction through responsiveness and positive interaction Periodic Responsibilities Daily ???Monitor chemical and cleanliness levels of the pool and spa ???Check shuttle schedule, run shuttles (communicate with FD throughout the day for shuttling needs) ???Check kitchen refrigeration equipment ???Check hot water temperature ???Correlate with other engineers to divide project responsibilities ???Walk common areas, back of the house and grounds: make notes/write PMs ???Check HHonors guests rooms for maintenance concerns ???Complete work orders and communicate with FD upon completion ???Complete and document PMs ???Review special projects/weekly foci ???Walk the exterior and remove trash ???Shovel walks and salt as needed Bi-Weekly ???Review performance measure Monthly ???Participate in heart of the garden huddle ???Perform monthly property walkthrough with Chief Engineer ???Change out filters (HVAC return air vents and F&B equipment) ???Water meter readings (1st of the month) ???Van PM ???Check salt levels of water softner ???Powerwash dumpster area Bimonthly ???Participate in fire drill Quarterly ???Attend quarterly maintenance meeting with fellow maintenance employees ???Review quarterly departmental performance (flexible budget variance) ???Verify all room PMs have been performed Semi-annually ???Review Q.A. results and remedy action planner items ???Work with housekeeping to maintain hard floors (wax or spray buff) ???Attend mid-year employee evaluations (submit raises annually) Annually ???Attend employee annual functions. ???Attend evaluation with Chief Engineer

???Must be 23 or older with a clean driving record (required to drive van) ???Must be able to lift 50 lbs ???Competitive applicants will have previous maintenance/handy man experience. ???Must have good customer service skills and a desire to help guests and members of other departments. ???Must have good personal hygiene and maintain a professional appearance. ???Must communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. ???Must be effective at multitasking. ???Must be self motivated and able to manage time effectively without supervision. ???Shifts vary significantly, competitive applicants will have an open schedule with both daytime and evening availability.
