    Job Description

    Accounting Clerk/Customer Service Representative Motion Control, Inc. is a world class manufacturer of robotic prosthetic limbs. We have a position open for an accounting clerk that would also have responsibility for customer service. It is a challenging, but rewarding position with a large variety of duties. As an accounting clerk, the successful applicant would be responsible for Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable including collections efforts. Customer Service duties would include answering phones, taking orders and answering questions and inquires about Motion Control products. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: ??? Accounts Payable: open mail, review invoices, code and match with purchase orders, process payments, maintain files, issue year end 1099 forms, keep track of applicable sales tax and file quarterly return ??? Accounts Receivable: print daily invoices, match with order forms and mail to customers, collect and post payments, mail out monthly statements, make reminder and collection phone calls to keep accounts current, make periodic bank deposits, take credit card payments ??? Customer Service: help answer incoming phone calls (supporting a receptionist), take customer orders and provide ordering information, along with customer support necessary to help with customer needs, including insurance billing questions, product details and applications. Training is provided product details. ??? Accounting support: supply documentation necessary for monthly financial statements, along with miscellaneous monthly responsibilities to document government grants, labor accumulation and data entry ??? Perform other general office duties as needed and assist in other areas of operation as requested by management

    Relocation costs may be covered.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Abilities ??? Associate???s Degree in Accounting and/or a High School diploma plus a minimum of 3 years of related experience in an accounting position ??? Experience in customer service a plus ??? Must have experience in Excel, Word and email. Internet and accounting software experience a plus ??? Energetic self-starter who wants to advance career ??? Strong attention to detail ??? Ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities ??? Accuracy in data entry, with a speed of at least 50 wpm ??? Strong organization and written/oral communication skills ??? Multi-tasking in a sometimes fast paced environment ??? Problem solving ??? Professional and team player attitude ???
