Position Summary: Reporting through the technical team, this position will assist the Operations, Quality, and Research departments in creating professional, comprehensive, and technical documentation. Major Duties: Conduct business intelligence research on competitive companies Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Maintain records and files of work and revisions. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel. Confer with customer representatives, vendors, or management to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication. Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding. Meet aggressive production deadlines.
This is a contract position.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Must be detailed oriented Excellent proofing skills including knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and proactive on assignments. Ability to organize, work both independently and in a team while exhibiting excellent time management skills. Experience with document control programs a plus.
