    Job Description

    This position is responsible for the analytics and media buying for online ad display campaigns, including daily analysis of campaigns and subsequent media buying changes. The Analytics and Media Buying team at Rakuten MediaForge works closely with account managers and account executives to ensure client???s return expectations are met and that the company is successful. Note that we are hiring for several positions in this role, both at a entry-level and senior-level. We are looking for a candidate that can bring significant value to the team and become a future leader at Rakuten MediaForge. The candidate will be someone comfortable with jumping into the fray and working collaboratively to find creative solutions for our clients??? big problems ??? including data management, yield management and return/attribution solutions. As we continue to more than double each year, we need more people to help us meet our clients??? needs. Responsibilities will include:  Create innovative solutions to big questions confronting Rakuten MediaForge and its clients  Provide strategic direction on upper-funnel and post-conversion campaigns and the use of appropriate third party data  Assist client services and sales in the preparation of client materials, including spend forecasts and campaign performance analyses  Work with technology team on modeling how existing first-party data can improve media buying and combining third-party data with existing first-party data  Be involved in the creation of a unique brand product  Become a thought leader and strategic thinker both internally and externally

    Ideal candidates will possess: ??? A bachelors or masters degree in statistics, mathematics or other highly analytical/quantitative degree. Understanding of online marketing and its associated data a plus. ??? Experience in retargeting, contextual, behavorial and other online marketing campaigns a plus. ??? Strong analytical and problem solving mindset. ??? Passion for learning and solving big problems through data analysis ??? Strong Excel skills are required. Statistical knowledge/understanding a plus. ??? Ability to communicate findings and recommendations thoroughly and concisely. ??? Experience working with online ad networks or DSPs a huge plus.
