-Provide exceptional service through guest interaction. -Coordinate with other staff to ensure all guest needs are met. -Take room service orders over the phone, prepare orders and deliver to guest rooms. -Use suggestive selling techniques to best meet guest needs and increase hotel revenues. -Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work station and dining room. -Perform daily and weekly routine cleaning tasks. -Ensure compliance with local food and alcohol service regulations. -Build loyalty and rapport with hotel guests. -Work with members of other departments in the hotel to best meet guest needs and hotel goals. -Hours per week vary from 10 to 25 hours.
Relocation costs may be covered.
-Must be at least 21 years of age. -Must be able to lift 30 lbs. -Must have valid and current Salt Lake County food handlers permit and Utah alcohol service training certification. -Must work well with others and be willing to pool tips (this is required due to nature of restaurant/room service environment, normally will split tips with one other employee per shift) -Must be available 5 evenings a week including all weekend evenings. -Must be available from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm. -Must have proven track record of providing excellent customer service and ability to build rapport and loyalty with guests. -Must have a friendly, approachable and professional demeanor. -Previous serving experience is preferred. -Average tips range from $12 to $15 per hour.
