Accounting Position Description We are a growing Sandy-based firm that currently holds contracts with the nation???s largest video, telephony, and high speed internet providers. Our professional staff has over 75 years of experience in business management, audit, sales, fulfillment, and consulting. Our firm manages several other successful entities. The Accounting Clerk will participate in completing the payables, receivables, payroll, and other administrative duties for our company and its sister companies. This position will report to the Controller. Requirements

The successful candidate will have at least a HS diploma or GED and some college, although at least an Associate???s degree is preferred, along with at 3 years of accounting experience in an office environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who works well with a team and is also willing to take initiative when appropriate. Problem-solving and good written and verbal communication skills are a must. Microsoft office experience is required, especially Excel, Word and Outlook. QuickBooks experience is required. Prior job tenure will be a major consideration in our decision-making process. Duties 1. Preparation of weekly customer invoices and reconciliation to ensure all items are appropriately invoiced 2. Interface with customer order application and accounting software 3. Collections as needed 4. Enter and prepare payables weekly 5. Payroll preparation and processing 6. Other various administrative functions 7. Assist Controller with other items as needed 8.
