Method Communications, Utah???s fastest-growing public relations firm, is currently seeking a proven social media strategist to develop and implement highly creative and measurable social media campaigns that lift our clients??? brands. This dynamic individual would be involved in the ground floor of new business opportunities to help craft the new media messaging and strategy for some of the hottest tech and life sciences companies in the country. The ideal candidate will be able to produce client-ready plans outlining strategies and tactics to engage with online communities, and also be able to deliver these presentations in a compelling way. They will have an existing network of relationships with online influencers, communities, vendors, media and thought leaders. The successful candidate will also be asked to play a role in advancing Method???s own thought leadership in digital and social media, including participation in pitch teams to secure new and incremental business for the agency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: ??? Work with clients to define organization goals and effectively translate them into cohesive social media strategies and campaigns ??? complete with associated work plans, suggested tactics and milestones. ??? Provide ongoing monitoring and strategy modifications as campaigns unfold as well as mentor our account teams on best practices, policies and guidelines for promoting, monitoring and developing content for social networks. ??? Provide specific deliverables such as weekly reports, strategies and creative briefs that drive new campaign ideas and strategic plans for existing and prospective clients. ??? Build Method???s brand, including executive visibility, on social media platforms.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ??? Two to five years of relevant experience working in social media. ??? Bachelor???s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, communications, business or related field. ??? Strong knowledge of social media channels, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Vimeo and YouTube. ??? Experience utilizing social media management tools such as Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, TweetDeck, Hootsuite and NUVI to clearly analyze and assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns. ??? Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present to C-level executives. ??? Highly organized, critical thinker with demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start and handle a wide variety of tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment. ??? Impeccable attention to detail. ??? Ability to manage workload and consistently meet all deadlines. PREFERRED: ??? Prior journalism, corporate or agency experience. ??? Case study portfolio of successfully executed social media campaigns. ??? Knowledge of latest marketing strategies, tactics and emerging platforms and technologies. ??? Budget management ??? ability to create a strategic marketing budget that is realistic and within client limits. ??? Ability to think creatively and participate in brainstorming sessions with clients and internal staff.
