    Job Description

    Responsible for front office duties for 17-person law firm. Duties include answering phone calls and routing calls to appropriate person; greeting clients; finalizing correspondence and other documents; scanning and electronic filing; scheduling appointments; preparing outgoing mail; maintaining good client and employee relations. Successful candidate must be dependable and punctual. Professional appearand and behavior are required.

    Relocation costs may be covered.

    Requirements

    * Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe * Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls * Data entry and word processing including good knowledge of document formatting, punctuation, spelling, and grammar * Take and relay messages * Provide general firm-related information to callers * Greet people entering office * Be aware of attorneys' in/out of office status * Prepare letters and documents for mailing * Scan documents to Basecamp * Learn and use Stamps.com * Burn CDs * Receive and sort mail and deliveries * Schedule attorney appointments * Organize materials and documents for meetings * Maintain organization of reception area, reception desk, and conference rooms * Track postage usage/allocation * Miscellaneous errands * Administrative/clerical work for office manager, partners, and attorneys * Establish appropriate priorities for work assignments * Acuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency of work; ability to eet quality standards * Good communication skills with firm employees and clients * Dependable and punctual * Professional appearance and behavior * Front office experience preferred
