    Job Description

    SUMMARY: Responsible for verifying all materials received from vendors and receiving them into our MRP system. Responsible for putting all new materials into proper storage locations. Responsible for pulling hardware for individual team needs in various assembly areas. Responsible for inventory accuracy. Responsible for maintaining Kanban bins in various areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ??? Must have strong computer skills and be able to enter receivables and issue materials in MRP system (enter quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count). ??? Manage and maintain accuracy of material inventories through daily cycle counts. ??? Receive and issue finished goods, maintain and monitor daily accuracy and on-time performance of inventory transactions (goods receipts, adjustments, goods issued). ??? Assure that all work orders/products/supplies are issued accurately and delivered on time to internal/ external customer. ??? Partner with purchasing to quickly resolve receiving or return/supplier related issues and assure accuracy of hardware, glass, and metal for outgoing loads. ??? Monitor hardware Kanban bins and replenish as needed. ??? Maintain working relationship with shipping vendors. ??? Be committed to lean practices and principles and the Fetzer Improvement System. (Standard Work, 5S, Kanban, Continuous Improvement, Waste reduction, S.T.E.P.S., First in/First out, Flow vs. Batch, etc.) ??? Volunteer for, accept and complete assignments on time. Be self-motivated and drive change. ??? Give and receive feedback professionally. Have good positive attitude. Be easy to approach and develop trust. ??? Rarely miss work unless absence is scheduled and covered. ??? Must be able to flex into other tasks to support production when needed. ??? Commit to personal development through study and practice.

    Relocation costs may be covered.


    NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ??? Strong written and verbal skills ??? Strong computer skills ??? Excellent telephone skills ??? Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy ??? Able to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies and suggest solutions ??? Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to switch-task and prioritize. CREDENTIALS and EXPERIENCE: ??? High School diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years related experience ??? Must have a valid Utah Driver???s License ??? Must be or become forklift certified. (Fetzer conducts its own certification program.) WORKING CONDITIONS: Will generally work normal scheduled hours. May be called upon to work outside of normal scheduled work hours on occasion to support production. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, twist, sit and stand all on a regular basis. Occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, heat, cold, chemicals and odor.
