Job Profile: Support Engineering, Field Applications Engineering R Systems Solutions Inc. is seeking a Tier 2 Server Support Engineer who will work closely with a team of front-line agents and be an escalation point for agents and high level VIP customers. We are supporting an Enterprise mobile messaging security application solution that interfaces with Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino mail servers. The candidate will be expected to utilize their experience administering and supporting Microsoft Outlook/Exchange and/or Lotus Notes/Domino to resolve complex issues. RIM/BES/GOOD admin experience is also a big plus!

Technical aptitude in resolving complex technical server and/or networking issues Responsibilities include: ??? Analyze system, application and diagnostic log files from Exchange & Domino network environments ??? Analyze proprietary server and device logs to identify root cause and next steps ??? Troubleshoot network related issues in order to restore service to customers ??? Develop workarounds and fixes to existing product lines when applicable ??? Identify whether problem is environmental or product related ??? Act as a resource for other Tiers (i.e. Tier 1 & Tier 3) ??? Provide a Front Line interface to the Tier3/Development Support team ??? Contribute to the existing knowledge base ??? Reproduce problems in a LAB Environment Educational Requirements: ??? Degree from an accredited college/university or on the job experience Required Skills & Experience: ??? 3-5 years in a support role; ideally in IT Administration. ??? An aptitude for solving complex server and networking issues. ??? An ability to read and analyze log files. Additional Skills: ??? Networking experience is a plus. ??? Familiarity with IBM Lotus Domino configuration. ??? 3+ years IT Admin experience is a plus. ??? 2+ years Microsoft Exchange Configuration experience is a plus. ??? Ability to read and write Perl scripts. ??? Highly organized and detail oriented. ??? Strong in verbal and written skills. ??? Excellent with customer service skills. ???
