CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Peck Striping, a small traffic control and safety products company, seeks a multifaceted Construction Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities and employees. RESPONSIBILITIES: ??? Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. ??? Determine labor requirements and coordinate dispatching workers to construction sites. ??? Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes. ??? Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer. ??? Help negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. ??? Direct, coach and supervise workers. Select, contract, and oversee workers. ??? Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. ??? Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects. ??? Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports. ??? Develop and implement quality control programs. ??? Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site. ??? Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and problems. ??? Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction projects. ??? Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out. ??? Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.

QUALIFICATIONS 1. 5+ year???s construction management experience with extensive knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in construction, preferably in road construction. 2. Prefer degree in construction management or related field. 3. Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and attention to detail skills. 4. Willingness and ability to work extended hours as needed during peak periods. 5. Strong leadership ability to get results through others while helping them grow and develop.
