Meet and greet all incoming employees and visitors. Answer all incoming calls and transfer calls via computerized system to voicemail. Have excellent customer service skills. Receive dispatch info from suppliers and account executives. Input and manage dispatch database. Plan daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch sequencing. Coordinate dispatching of trucks. Transfer itinerary to applicable trucking company. Responsible for data input into SAI (System Alternative Inc.) of commodity pricing, customer contract pricing, supplier information. Calculate monthly formula pricing files and distribution. Manage supplier incentive programs. Maintain supplier certifications to assure they are kept up to date. Track bin inventory and maintenance. Record and analyze all the above in timely reports. Prepare reports for various managers as needed. Additional administrative duties as assigned by Commercial Manager

1-3 years of Administrative experience, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, excellent verbal and written communication skills, internal/external customer service focus, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in and help others when needed. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Experience in scrap yard desired. Experience with dispatching trucks, using computerized tracking system. Must be computer literate to design & input various reports. Knowledge of different types of scrap metals a plus. Must have good phone etiquette.
