About Our Company
The Lawn Service LLC is a 10 year old grounds maintenance company with a reputation for high quality work. We mow, fertilize, fix sprinkler systems, trim bushes, do yard cleanups, aeration, snow removal, Christmas light installation, and gutter cleaning. We service residential and commercial properties in Weber, Davis and Salt Lake counties. Come join our team!
We are looking for an experienced lawn maintenance crew leader. This position will start out as a lead assistant. After training on the mowing routes applicant will be responsible for servicing all accounts. Most days applicant will be driving a company truck with trailer and equipment to mow lawns. Occasionally applicant will be responsible for doing yard cleanups and other services we offer. This position is for a highly motivated hard worker with a minimum of two seasons experience in lawn maintenance. Experience supervising co-workers is a plus but not required. This job is not for an inexperienced person looking to learn the trade. We are looking for someone who knows what they are doing and can hit the ground running. We understand there will still be a small learning curve as all companies do things slightly differently but the applicant should be experienced in this line of work. Must be willing to wear company provided shirts and maintain a professional appearance.

Days: Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Hours: 30 to 50 hours per week April thru November with irregular hours during the winter months.
Duties
-Mowing, edging, trimming lawns.
-Operating both riding and push mowers
-Operating a company truck with trailer
-Trimming bushes and doing yard cleanups
-Light irrigation repairs
-Christmas light installation (will train, experience here not required)
-Snow removal (will train, experience here not required)
Requirements
- Desire to be the best
- Safe and drug free worker
-Must have a professional appearance
- Be willing to take and pass drug and background checks
- Must have reliable transportation
- Positive, team oriented attitude, self motivated, and honest
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be comfortable with and have experience towing a small trailer.
-Must be able to work long hours in hot weather and be able to lift 100lbs (30 to 50) hours per week 5/6 days a week)
-Must be able to work alone and with co-workers
-Must have 2+ years of experience performing most duties listed in the duties section.
-Experience selling and bidding new jobs helpful but not required
-Must be able to find addresses in unfamiliar locations.
