Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at the corporate office located in Centerville, UT.
This position reports to the vice president, corporate human resources and supports the employment and labor counsel, HR systems analyst, HRIS programmer and manager, talent acquisition. This position performs a variety of administrative duties relating to human resources activities.
Essential functions include:
1. Ensure proper completion of paperwork for new employees and other personnel actions; coordinate personnel changes with appropriate department staff to ensure entry to the HRIS.
2. Maintain personnel records for all corporate staff to include center directors and wardens.
3. Assist with processing corporate compensation actions.
4. Maintain records related to labor and employee problem solving, agency charges, legal issues and compliance audits.
5. Assist with maintaining HR records required American Correctional Association (ACA) corporate office accreditation.
6. Complete government required reports to include annual EEO-1 and VETS 100 reports for all MTC locations.
7. Maintain a functional and comprehensive filing system for the department.
8. Prepare new and revised organization charts, salary structures, wage and salary surveys and position descriptions as instructed; coordinate with appropriate corporate and site staff.
9. Maintain HRIS and provide technical assistance to the field offices.
10. Assist with coordination of school to work and work experience student assignments.
11. Maintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and four years administrative experience, two of which should be in human resources. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be proficient with Windows word processing and spreadsheets. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record required.
