Job Description
Synthesis Chemist needed for a dietary ingredients manufacturer located in North Salt Lake. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Research new products, formulation creation, experiment design (bench top work), flavor creation, help keep lab clean and organized, formula entry, creating instruction for pilot lab Ex: batching, Mixing, grinding instructions. Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess: BS in Chemistry, 3-5 years’ experience in related field. Experience should include experience in creating new compounds from chemical level, with potential by-products and adverse evolution (gasses, etc.) of materials and the repercussions, critical thinking skills to solve complex pilot problems, an excellent understanding of EXCEL, and in-depth understanding of various types of equipment and how they function. Good interpersonal skill is a must.
