The Database Manager assists the Director of IT to manage the databases needed to operate the company efficiently and provide world class reporting, dashboard, database tools to all departments within the company. Detailed Responsibilities: ??? Responsible for adjusting database table fields, write queries, and create reports based on department needs. ??? Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. ??? Provides support to management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results. ??? Make modifications to current database applications based on departmental needs. ??? Research, evaluate, and make recommendations and/or develop reporting, analytic and business intelligent tools. ??? Maintain databases which include running various utilities or scripts to increase efficiency and performance. ??? Provide training on database applications including customizations and reporting tools to personnel. ??? Assist in the administration of company databases and database servers including Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. ??? Assist in the administration of company database applications including Sage ERP 100, Sage SalesLogix, SharePoint 2010, and Access 2007/2010. ??? Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: ??? Bachelor???s Degree Required. ??? Minimum 2-4 years experience required. ??? Excellent communications skills both written and spoken. ??? Working knowledge and experience with Transact-SQL and Query Analyzer. ??? Development experience in Visual Basic ??? Development experience in web based ASP.NET, HTML ??? Experience with developing and maintaining Crystal Reports ??? Access 2007/2010 development experience ??? Excel 2007/2010 development experience ??? Sage ERP 100 development experience a plus ??? Sage SalesLogix development experience a plus ??? Microsoft SharePoint 2010 development experience a plus ??? Time management skills. ??? Positive, ???can do??? attitude. ??? Excellent customer service skills. ??? Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. ??? Attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
