POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position fills a vitally important role to identify an acquire the next generation of talent for this rapidly growing business, which is the leading provider of online on-demand professional learning resources for K-12 teachers and administrators throughout the United States. Qualified candidates will have experience assisting hiring managers through the every stage of recruiting planning and execution. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience sourcing candidates for a wide variety of positions using social media, applicant tracking systems, and other technology. Experience hiring for account executive, software developer, and K-12 education positions is a plus. This position reports to the HR Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist hiring managers with composing well written and compelling job descriptions
• Creatively source passive and active candidates
• Conduct expert interviews to discern if candidate’s qualifications are up to par
• Drive the recruiting process ensuring that the hiring managers are daily aware of the results of the search
• Coordinate interviews for others to ensure interviewers are prepared for 1-on-1 or group interviews
• Train interviewers and hiring managers on interviewing techniques and do’s and don’ts
• Assist hiring managers with negotiating compensation arrangements
• Guide the hiring managers to make great hiring decisions based on thorough information gathering
• Conduct thorough reference checks and process background checks
