Job Description
The Utah Drug Card is the FREE statewide prescription assistance program that is open to all residents. The program was launched to help residents pay for their non-covered and/ or non-discounted medications that they are prescribed. The program has saved Utah residents over $4.6 million since inception in 2009. We work synergistically with all of the main chain pharmacies, hospitals, health departments, and physician clinics in the state. We are also supported by the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce and Utah State Chamber of Commerce. We are looking for a person to visit pharmacies, hospitals, and physician clinics in the state. Responsibilities include the following:
Educate the pharmacy staff members about the program and show them how to process our members prescriptions
Establish relationships with pharmacy staff
Educate social work/ case management teams of hospitals about the program and make them become a distribution site for cards to be given to patients at discharge
Educate physician clinics (in particular the office managers) about the program and make them become a distribution site for card to be given to patients at discharge
Establish relationships with hospitals and physician clinics
Send a detailed weekly report via email that explains the nature of the visits

Hiring criteria:
Must have a car
Flexible work hours 10-20 hours/week
Must have solid communication skills
Must have at least 1 year of college experience
