Job Description
Buyer/Planner Position Purpose: The purpose of the buyer planner position is to be the contact person for customers to place and follow-up on purchase orders, insure that adequate supplies of components are ordered for production needs, and efficiently schedule production activities to meet customer needs.
Principal Accountabilities: Plan production schedules. Receive and confirm new purchase orders. Check for adequate component inventories. Insure that components are ordered for production needs. Generate Invoices and packing lists. Maintain communications with customers.

Requirements
Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel, ERP, Etc.). High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Must be able to interact professionally with customers and vendors. At least 3 years Buying/Planning Experience preferred.
