Job Description
1. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions using various test instruments/equipment and tools. Repairs and or replaces faulty components.
2. Reads and interprets Software logic for robots and PLC controllers.
3. Follows schematics, electrical drawings, ladder logic, PID’s, technical manuals and engineering specifications, must be familiar with commonly used symbols and designs.
4. Maintain electronic and mechanical devices and repair or replace broken or defective components and mechanisms.
5. Repairs and services equipment using hand tools and test equipment.
6. Create interpretive drawings in the form of electronic documentation, including wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams and PID’s.
7. Execute routine to complex projects with limited or no supervision in a neat and orderly manner.
8. Maintains inventories of equipment and replacement parts.
9. Performs preventive maintenance and creates maintenance schedules.
10. Utilize Lock Out Tag Out procedures as required.
11. If issued a company credit card, maintain all related records of any purchases and work to stay within department budgets
12. Work overtime as needed by the department. Work flexible hours as business needs require.
13. Actively participate in continuous improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating PVD boards, lean lite, KAS, etc.
14. Communicate in an effective, timely, and appropriate manner to all associates (i.e. peers, support teams and management) including escalating issues.
15. Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.
16. Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
17. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
· AS / AA Degree in Electrical / Electronics Technology
· An Electrical Journeyman’s License and knowledge of electrical codes strongly preferred
· Four years experience with advanced electronic or electrical applications
· Knowledge/expertise in working safely with live voltage up to 480 volts
· Knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical automation, instrument and controls
· Must be familiar with the safe and proper use of hand tools and test equipment commonly used in the electrical trade, and have general mechanical ability
· Working knowledge of the following software: Microsoftâ Word, Excel, Access, Visio and SolidWorks
· Effective written and oral communications skills (English), math skills, and interpersonal skills
