Job Description
COP Construction LLC has an immediate opening for an estimator in our North Salt Lake office. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in estimating heavy civil construction projects including underground utilities, earthwork, structural concrete, treatment plants, and pump stations. Will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates in the private and public sectors for heavy civil projects ranging from $100,000 to $30,000,000. Must be able to estimate projects from "cradle to grave", including review of plans and specifications, solicit and negotiate pricing, quantity take-offs, and completion of bid and closeout. This is an excellent career opportunity with a growing company.

• 10 + Years Estimating Heavy Civil Projects
• 4 Year Technical Degree Preferred
• Proficiency in HCSS, AgTek, PlanSwift, and CPM Scheduling is desired
• Working knowledge of Design-Build and CMGC delivery methods is a plus
• Participate in Marketing and Business Development Plan
• Identify New Business Opportunities and Projects to Bid
• Solicit Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Specialty Service Companies
• Assist Project Management during Award, Turn-over, and Start-up Phases
• Decision Making Skills Under Pressure and Deadlines
• Ability to Respond Quickly and Effectively
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Work Ethic
• Team Player
