Job Description Salt Lake City area financial services organization seeks an Editor for its electronic, weekly publication that serves as a primary source for current news and information highlights in areas of interest to the valuation and financial forensics consultants. There is some writing, but most of the content is created by Editorial Board members who are specialists in their respective disciplines. The position is part-time (about 20 hours a week) on a contract basis and is housed in Editor???s home/office. Responsibilities In conjunction with the Editorial Board, create an editorial calendar Assign topics and timeframes/deadlines to the authors and ensure timely submission of the articles Work with authors and associates to obtain written permission to use/re-use articles and confirm that contents of the articles are current Work with organization???s Headquarters on quality review process and posting of articles on its website Work with organization???s project management team on article HTML creation and assembly of marketing messages before dissemination
This is a contract position.

Requirements College degree, preferably in journalism, English, or marketing A minimum of five years of experience as a newsletter Editor Ability to work with and motivate busy, experienced practitioners Ability to build effective working relationships and accomplish tasks in a collaborative online, team environment Highly organized, with demonstrated command of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style
