    Job Description

    $1,000 to $1,200 a week installing Dish Network and DirecTV. No experience needed, training provided. Looking for hard working individuals that are mechanically inclined. The job is from April 1st till September 7th. Scope of work: Install Dish Network in existing homes for customers that have signed up for the service. Job consists of getting a list of customers at the beginning of the day and then working until those jobs are completed. The job includes; performing a pre-installation walk through, mounting a satellite dish to the home, running cable to the TV locations, installing receivers, activating equipment, teaching the customer how to use the equipment, getting signatures from the customer, closing out the job with our dispatchers and on to the next one. At times you may be lifting heavy objects, working off a ladder, working in tight spaces, working with hand tools and power tools. If you have done any of the following, you would be well suited for this job. SATELLITE TECHNICIAN - for the obvious reason of knowing how to do the job. even if it's been a while since you installed, we give you all the training you need to get you back us to speed. APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN - You already understand how the houses are wired and have experience working with the cables and tools we use to install. ALARM TECHNICIAN - If you have installed alarm, especially in a summer program, Satellite is an easy transition. So if you are looking for something new, this is the place. PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN - You are used to being around lots of customers during the day and you are used to the schedule we keep. Installing satellites is a nice change of pace. much less hectic than spraying 18 pest accounts a day. We work 6 days a week for 4 to 5 months. The average 1st year rep will make $20,000 to $27,000 in a summer. More if you are above average.

    This is a contract position.

    Relocation costs may be covered.


    1. Have your own truck, van or SUV. No installing out of a car. 2. Be able to travel out of state for the summer. 3. Be able to work 6 days a week, sunup to sundown. Monday - Saturday 4. Be honest and hardworking. 5. Be driven and self motivated. 6. Have all your own tools (starter kits are available) 7. Be able to follow directions. 8. Be able to communicate with customers
