Orchid Event Solutions (OES) is seeking an Account Manager based in our Salt Lake City office. OES is a full service provider of online event registration services, software, on-site registration support and convention housing management for association, trade show, direct selling, corporate, faith based and government clients. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate hotel room blocks, reservations and convention registration for convention and exposition events for national and international customers. Manage all aspects of housing and registration events including working relationships with clients, hotels partners and convention attendees. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mix of organizational skills, analytical ability, and customer service skills. We are looking for a self-starter capable of working independently as well as in teams. Job Duties: ??? Works with meeting planners and hotels to maintain multiple hotel room blocks and registration activities for events. ??? Works with clients to understand their housing and registration needs and translates those needs into operations within company standards. ??? Responsible for software system set-up for both housing and registration events. ??? Ensures a positive experience for clients and event attendees from event open date through end date. ??? Controls hotel room inventory and conference registration for assigned accounts. ??? Maintains strong grasp of account contracts to ensure all efforts are made to fulfill client and hotel obligations. ??? Collects housing fee and registration revenue on assigned accounts. ??? Facilitates conflict resolution between hotels, convention delegates, and meeting planners. ??? Generates convention performance reports. ??? Travels to various events for on-site support. ??? Achieves departmental production standards as set forth by the Director of Housing Operations and the Director of Registration Operations. ??? Other duties as assigned.

??? Must be able to work effectively with the public and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. ??? Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new programs specific to the department. ??? Ability to work within company standards using checklists to achieve operational goals. ??? Great organization skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment. ??? Must be able to travel throughout the year and work evenings, weekends and holidays based on client and company demands.
