Job Description
Intermountain Plantings is looking for an experienced accountant to fill a controller position. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years public accounting experience and 2 years in a small or medium size business with broad accounting responsibilities including AR, AP, payroll, job costing, financial statements, GAAP, audit requirements, and team supervision. Competence in MS Office is expected and familiarity with Spectrum software is helpful. A working knowledge of human resources, commercial insurance, banking, and investments will be useful as well. Exposure to ESOP administration would also be helpful, but it not expected. This position may include several months of orientation working in related roles and for the right person may lead into an executive opportunity. Starting wage is anticipated between $50,000 and $65,000 with bonus potential, insurance benefits, paid time off, and ESOP participation. EOE.
