Job Description
Chemical Engineer needed for a dietary ingredients manufacturer located in North Salt Lake. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Reformulation of current problem products, help fix OOS and NCR products, run pilot batches, rewrite instructions from chemist to show results from the pilot batches, work with chemist on problems, look into new machinery for possible new production, process improvement, and conduct uniformity studies. Requirements
BS in Chemical Engineering/Engineering. 3-5 years' experience in related field. Experience should include scaling up from synthesis lab to production size batches, critical thinking skills to solve complex pilot problems, in-depth understanding of various types of equipment and how they function, and the ability to use statistical analysis and evaluate trends in order to help improve current line of products. Good interpersonal skill is a must.
