Job Description
Part time staff needed. Hours currently are PRN with the option to increase in the near future. Times needed are Mon-Fri between 2:00pm and 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and make a difference. Staff work directly with and serve as a mentor to troubled youth who are struggling with substance abuse, behavioral and mental health issues. Time is spent with the youth participating in service, recreation activities, group therapy, etc. Starting pay is typically $8.50 per hour but can be negotiable depending on experience.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a background check. Also need to live in the Provo/Orem/Utah County area. Other responsibilities include daily documentation of day's events, communication with other staff members regarding youth's progress/concerns, bi-monthly staff meeting (9pm-11pm) and possibly preparing and presenting groups on a weekly basis for the youth.
