General Summary of Position
The Marketing Production Manager is the liaison and trafficker for all marketing projects and initiatives. This role is responsible to ensure all marketing assets and materials are produced in scope, in budget and on time for all customers within the company, including the sales department, e-commerce, product development and others for all product launches and marketing campaigns.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Manage entire product launch process from the marketing side, including the creation of all marketing materials necessary for a smooth launch into market.
Work with internal sales team to ensure all catalogs, POPs and packaging meet business requirements and are delivered on time and on budget.
Implementing a company-wide go-to marketing plan for all new products based on product importance, reach and financial impact.
With marketing directors, ensure financial and creative resources allocation is appropriate.
Ensure the marketing department is always working on the highest impact and most important projects.
Manage regular production and prioritization meetings to ensure all internal and external clients needs are met and projects are well executed.
Meet with internal clients (sales, product development) and external clients (Retail partner staff buyers, merchandisers, digital managers). Provide reports from client meetings, distribute to appropriate creative personnel. Quickly and accurately relay client changes on projects to appropriate team members.
Develop strategy and communicate the planned strategy through a written creative brief.
Effectively present creative department work/proposals to clients
Respond promptly to client communications
Coordinate approval creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and production art
Coordinate project execution, timing and budgets
Perform other duties as required.
Organization
- Reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong experience in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of project management best practices
Understanding of online project management systems such as Trello, Basecamp, Zoho, etc.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to engage with and love our brand
Team player interested in maximizing the performance of the creative team
Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts
Ability to coordinate efforts of outside vendors.
Ability to initiate and follow through on projects in a timely and responsible manner.
Education and Experience Requirements
Three years of experience as a Marketing Production Manager or equivalent.
PMI or equivalent certification a plus
Marketing experience in a consumer-branding environment. Agency Account Executive experience a plus.
BA/BS degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing
Strong understanding of the creative landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the Goal Zero brand
Compensation
