Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To ensure the overall quality of manufactured products through QC checks of employees, records, products, facility, etc.
To follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures involved with GMP processes.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
All areas of the company directly involved in cGMP processes
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or Associates degree

Requirements
• Create production packets. Verify customer specifications in packets and make corrections as needed. Make sure product specifications are current and printed in packet or have it scanned and updated.
• Perform the following tests as required on specification sheets: bulk/tap density, moisture and particle size. Create certificate of analysis for all products.
• Routine employee checks during production.
• SOP follow-up (paperwork, clean, etc)
• Fill out laboratory temperature logs daily.
• Maintain retains on all products ran throughout plant
• Pre-weigh product for production as needed
• Pull samples for raw retains and testing
• General help where needed
• Keep QC testing area clean
• Above are the main objectives of the Quality Control Job.
• Verify that rooms and equipment have been properly cleaned before the start of a new production run. Complete room logs and have proper sign offs done.
• Understand and follow basic GMPs. Attend all employee meetings.
• Help with weighing, labeling, shipping, cleaning as requested.
• Treat all fellow employees with courtesy and respect.
