Defines, develops, modifies, tests, analyzes and maintains software applications and complex information systems in support of business requirements. Advises supervisor with highly complex systems performance and recommends improvements as needed. Writes code, tests, analyzes and troubleshoots new applications and maintains existing systems and n-tier products. May supervise the technical tasks of Programmer or lower level Programmer Analysts. Designs, implements and maintains relational databases. Develops business intelligence (BI) processes, data, interfaces, and interactivity to provide key performance indicators, dashboards, analytics, and decision support software. Analyzes user needs and reviews system specifications for circumstances requiring advanced skill. Researches and documents user requirements. Designs, builds and modifies software specifications as required to meet changing business requirements. Studies research on emerging application development software products, languages and standards in support of development efforts. Recommends and performs software improvements and upgrades. Modifies and maintains reports.

Minimum of seven (7) years programming experience. Must be able to demonstrate advanced expertise with Object Oriented Programming using ASP.NET, Visual Basic.Net or C#. Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and / or Crystal report writing. Advanced knowledge of a combination of Microsoft SQL Server 2005+, Management Studio, JD Edwards, Trapeze software and SIRE is required. Knowledge of Oracle database and SharePoint is helpful. Must have developed very complex software programs from customer specifications to user sign-off. Must have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex relational databases, data models and data warehouses. Business Intelligence (BI) development and related technologies such as SSDS experience required. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. Must follow directions and programming standards according to department protocols. Must demonstrate the ability to manage time, meet scheduled due dates and track the status of projects. Must be able to multi-task where the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently is required. Must have good customer service skills where application support, deployment and troubleshooting experience is required. Must have the ability to work within a team and/or independently. Occasionally, after hours and/or weekend work will be required to support critical customer needs. Limited travel will also be required to support customers in remote business units for extended periods of time. Previous project management experience is required.
