Job Description
THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROMPTLY AND EFFICIENTLY RECEIVING, REVIEWING, AND PROCESSING ORDERS THEN PREPARING THEM TO BE CHECKED BY A PHARMACIST, WITH A CONSTANT FOCUS ON DELIVERING THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF PRODUCT IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Requirements
Must be a Certified Pharmacy technician in the state of Utah and also PTCB/ExCPT Nationally Certified
Must be computer literate
Must be willing to work with raw chemicals, chemos and hazardous medication
Complete orders safely, following all FDA regulations to ensure sterility, stability and consistency with each order
Punctual, meticulous and reliable
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to learn and prepare various compounds accurately and efficiently. Willingness and ability to learn the techniques in other areas of specialization as time permits and need arises
Schedule is not flexible for a school schedule, hours are strictly 8-5 Monday-Thursday, Friday 8-4 with the possibility of working Saturdays.
Work in a fast paced position where there is little downtime. Continue to stay on task and complete orders quickly yet accurately.
