Job Description
Provide design solutions for all phases of project design, specialized in high end residential and resort hospitality. Deliver comprehensive schematic design package to client in a timely manner and provide design support through the completion of projects by applying relevant design guidelines and standards.
Prepare floor plans and elevations ensuring conformance to design guidelines and brand strategy. Prepare sketches, perspective views, elevations and details as necessary in support of your design solution to facilitate presentation. Review and redline design development and construction drawings from client. Ensure design intent is upheld and ensure all details are coordinated to client design standards. Actively propose new ideas, materials and details to support the client’s vision.

Salary is negotiable based on experience

Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from an accredited institution
NCIDQ license, desired
Minimum of 2 years experience in interior design
Construction documentation experience
Knowledge of furniture periods and Architectural styles, with excellent color sense.
Proficient in AutoCAD and demonstrated space planning skills
Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Experience in high end resort design a plus
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
Possess strong verbal, written and visual communication skills with all levels of employees, management and outside parties.
Demonstrate creative abilities and applied problem-solving skills
Strong abilities to work in a team setting and achieve results through collaboration and sharing
Proven ability to self-manage and demonstrate high level of professional maturity
Must be quality minded and self motivated
